About Course Control Dates
Top  Previous  Next

The default student enrollment begins immediately and lasts indefinitely. However, you can control the length of time the student has access to the course.

When you enroll a student in a course, you can set up to three different dates to control that enrollment.

·The start on or after date is the earliest date that the student can access the course.

·The cut off after date is the last date that the student can access the course.

·The target completion date is the date by which the student is intended to complete the course. It does not lock the student out of the course, but it will appear on appropriate screens. Depending on your system configuration, this date may also be used to trigger reminder e-mail messages.
